Business Development Director
I am an experienced business manager, with an entrepreneurial background who has worked in a variety of industries for large and small companies, but Photocentric is very different. I have worked at Photocentric for 5 years now and have never experienced a working environment like this one, its unique. In my role as Business Development Director, I touch every aspect of product development from chemistry, software, design and material science through to the customer, creating new products for new applications, making them available at scale and at a price never before possible. We have the most amazing amount of opportunities ahead of us. The atmosphere in the office is humorous, positive and can-do, it’s my spiritual home!
Prior to joining Photocentric in 2017, my previous career experience included international sales, sourcing, and account management within multi-channel retail, which included various other sectors alongside the Craft industry. Coming to Photocentric to head up Craft sales was a logical and exciting next step for me.
My role has expanded over the years, and I’m now Commercial manager for our 2D division, a role which involves delivering growth for the business, whilst working to deliver an extremely high quality of product and service, as well as new product development. My experience at Photocentric is enhanced by being able to work with an enthusiastic, and hard working team, who all put the customer’s needs at the forefront of their efforts.
CEO Photocentric 3D Inc
I started with Photocentric in 2019 with the task of establishing and running our North American 3D operations. I have a diverse history of overseeing companies both large and small in various industries and since 2014 I have been deeply involved directing companies within the Additive Manufacturing world. Driven to provide value to our clients that exceeds even the most demanding user and taking pride in collaborating with companies to create outstanding business solutions while also providing the support needed to assure success long after the initial sale.
VP Craft Sales
I joined the Photocentric team leading US craft sales in May 2021. However, having worked in craft for over 12 years beforehand I knew the company well and its reputation for quality and customer service, so the decision to join was an easy one when the opportunity arose. Since then, I have really enjoyed the challenge of developing the product range and widening our sales reach in North America. Although I work from home, I am in regular contact with the team in Phoenix and they have proved to be a wonderful team to work with, committed to delivering customer service above all else.
Senior R&D Design Engineer
This year marks my 10th anniversary with Photocentric, and it has been an incredible and rewarding journey. I joined shortly after completing my engineering degree at Cambridge and Photocentric was my first opportunity to put my studies to use, which I certainly did when I started being given the job of automating the sachet making machines for stamp manufacture. I have now been involved in all areas of mechanical and design engineering, programming, automation and of course 3D printing! I have been instrumental throughout Photocentric’s entire journey in 3D printing from the invention of the first LCD screen printer the LC10 to today, where we are creating the most powerful printing machine ever made. The thing I like the most about working here is that every day is different, bringing opportunities to think, be creative and learn.
Lead Ceramic Scientist
I was working as a faculty member in ceramics in Iran University of Science & Technology, engaged in ceramics for 10+ years and development of 3D printing ceramics for 5 years. I was also CEO of the Institute of Additive Manufacturing and successful in the research and educational world in Tehran. I chose to work at Photocentric, because it was an amazing company offering me an amazing challenge – optimise the process of mass manufacture of ceramics, something I had always been passionate about. Now I am leading a team of three scientists in a vibrant busy and happy working environment, doing something we all feel is important.
Stamp Production Line Leader
My journey at Photocentric began in 2018, working on the automated stamp manufacturing machinery in the production area (Costa). I was responsible for cleaning clear craft stamps and was immediately promoted and moved from cleaning to cutting and removing layers of film on stamps.
After 1 year of working at Photocentric, I was once again promoted and became a Line Leader and now I run my own shift, managing a team of people, improving processes, and working to SOPs. Photocentric gave me my first opportunity to work in manufacturing, as previously I was a supervisor at a local Shell petrol station. I am proud of my achievements so far and for being a member of the Costa team. I cannot wait for another year to fly by working with our amazing team.
3D Product Manager
I started working at Photocentric in the 3D Printing department about five years ago. I have a BSc in Ceramic Materials Engineering and MSc in Nanomaterials engineering. I have found Photocentric to be an ambitious place to work with a wide variety of opportunities available to all staff with employees being actively encouraged to learn new skills.
I have enjoyed quick career progression since I originally joined as a Development Engineer working on particle enriched photopolymers and my progress has happened because I have been lucky enough to work with an amazing team at Photocentric. We all enjoy the progressive and flexible environment which everyday allows individuals to grow and learn more.
Production Coordinator & H&S Manager
I started working at Photocentric in 2013, a few months after I moved to the UK. I found myself in a completely new industry, different to what I had been preparing for during my Internal Security course at University in Poland. Fortunately, I was in a good place at the right time surrounded by good people who supported me in this new situation. I found Photocentric to be a good place to work, a place full of opportunities, where dedication and hard work is rewarded.
I truly enjoy working at Photocentric and I feel I am a part of the company. Currently I am involved in exciting projects, one of them is manufacturing 3D resin for the biggest chemical company in the world – BASF.
Dental Sales Manager
At university, I was classically trained as a journalist and became fascinated with additive manufacturing during this time. Since joining Photocentric in May 2018 I have enjoyed varied positions such as 3D Product Manager, Account Manager and now Dental Sales Manager.
My role enables me to work with teams across our range developing and implementing pioneering solutions to support the requirements across the dental sector. I’ve found Photocentric to be a company filled with likeminded, driven and ambitious individuals, who all strive for the same goal of shaping the future of additive manufacturing.
